Involving You
To encourage community involvement in the New Perth Bunbury Highway project, the Alliance has used a range of engagement methods including:
- Technical Working Groups
- Dialogue with the Community workshops
- Neighbourhood meetings
- Stakeholder meetings on special interest issues
- Information sessions and presentations
These activities have enabled matters regarding the design concept and scope of works such as design requirements, environmental commitments, construction and integration of the project within the local road network to be deliberated with the community and key stakeholders.
They provide an interactive forum for residents and stakeholders to share information and local expertise, raise concerns and have input on various aspects of the project’s delivery.
