Integrating the New Perth Bunbury Highway into the road network will have an impact on local traffic and may affect how some residents use existing roads to travel to and from their suburb.
The new highway will cross or affect a number of road under the control of the local government authorities. In order to ensure that the new highway is both safe and efficient the number and location of side road connections needs to be carefully managed. This will require some local road adjacent to the new highway to be modified.
Construction of these local road modification has commenced and as a result a number of traffic conditions have recently changed or will do so in the near future.
